In Cambodia, thousands of children are finding their own escape from street life - through glue-sniffing and other drugs.
Timon is one of them. He has no family except the other kids on the street. They beg and steal, find casual work as rubbish pickers. They stick together, in groups of two or three, looking out for each other.
But it might not be enough to stop them being sold into prostitution, or sold to an organised begging gang who will brutally disfigure them to gain sympathy. (Read more about Timon HERE)
20th July 2008: Fiona Castle, Ron Newby and Rostitus (our project manager for Cambodia) are at Elvet Methodist Church, Durham this weekend to take part in a fundraising and communication event. Give thanks for all the funds raised by Elvet to help support our projects in Cambodia.
